Anderson is a dedicated and hardworking student, with a background in fashion retailing. She is currently in her second year working to obtain her Master of Science at WSU in AMDT. Raised in the Pacific Northwest with family background in education, she has always had a respect for academia. Anderson received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington State University in the AMDT program, with an emphasis in merchandising. During her time in undergrad she completed the retail management internship at Nordstrom. She currently holds the position of secretary for the AMDT GSA club and is the lab instructor for the Buying and Planning undergraduate course. Her retail background inspired her to pursue a career in buying. She will be leading two research presentations at the upcoming International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA) Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
