B.A. Honors in Animal Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria.

Thesis:

Consumer behavior, electronic/mobile shopping, social media use for small businesses.

Background:

Adesanya is a master’s student in the department of Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Textiles and currently a research assistant. She received her baccalaureate degree in Animal science from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. She developed interest in entrepreneurship and particularly in understanding consumer behavior during her thesis project in college where she gained experience in marketing and sales of the broiler chicken that she raised to marketable size, both in the university community and Lagos state. Advancing to the United States, her interest grew in understanding the behavior and psychology in the area of human consumption of the basic need of life, one of which is Clothing/Textiles/Fashion. Her long-term goal is to develop expertise in analyzing human behavior relating to consumption and be a lens for businesses that use consumer data as guiding tools and decision making.
