Annual Mom's Weekend Fashion Show
The Mom's Weekend Fashion Show, held each spring in Pullman, is an excellent showcase for the design/ merchandising synergy. This event features apparel lines designed by Apparel Design students and the promotional abilities of Merchandising students.
As an annual project sponsored by our student chapter, International Textile and Apparel Association (WSU ITAA), the Mom's Weekend Fashion Show encourages active participation of students in the program and provides opportunities for professional and personal development. By working hard on such a major event, students gain lifelong friendships, networks, sense of their abilities, and what they can do with teamwork.
