Warm welcome at the AMDT cookout

As new students begin their AMDT experience every year, AMDT helps them get off on the right foot.

Students got a boost of excitement about the 2016–17 academic year at this year’s Welcome Back Cookout, held August 25 in the green, shaded plaza outside Johnson Hall in Pullman.

By donating prizes, industry participants such as Konjo Ababa, Speedo, and Zumies got students excited about career possibilities. Instructors shared information about new classes, study tours and involvement in the annual Mom’s Weekend Fashion Show.

Networking is vital for success in the classroom and beyond. The Welcome Back Cookout helped undergrads build relationships right out of the gate.
