Merchandising
The Merchandising option includes courses designed to allow students to develop competence in the planning, buying, and selling of merchandise in either manufacturing or retail organizations. The strength of this option is understanding how merchandising relates to design, product character and performance, and consumer demand. Students are encouraged to recognize both the product as well as the people who will use those products by exploring product development, visual merchandising, merchandising mathematics, and international business.
